OMG I love the dabbles! That white owl reminds me of the ookpiks from the Northern Canada art of the 1960s. You may have something going here! See the second half of this dusty, old post: http://deep-blonde-thoughts.com/2014/08/25/extended-canadian-summer-vacation/

Dorothyanne, will you be in Wolfville anytime soon?. I would like to pass on some under-fur for a sheltie for you to make for a friend, will have pictures. Sorry for being so long getting to you. I carve stones, shared a Show with you in Waverly.

Do you do custume work, I have a photo of a King Charles Cavalier spaniel I would love to have made for a friend who lost her last year due to illness.

I do! If you could email me a photo I could try one for you. My dogs are usually about 5” long (without tail), and are built on an armature so they can be posed… I charge $50 plus postage or commissions. They are made from wool with perhaps a bit of alpaca or silk as appropriate.

If you are interested, please email me at Dabbles.co@gmail.com with the photo and I’ll get started. I love King Charles Cavaliers – such dear sweet faces! My cousins have a few!
